The Mulliens House.

Augusta’s First Transitional Home
for
Veteran Fathers and Their Children

THE STORY

The Mulliens House began with a moment that could not be ignored.
A veteran in our community lost his life after freezing to death—without shelter, without support, and without the stability he needed to survive. It was a heartbreaking reminder that the men who once served our country can return home to face unimaginable challenges.

For Dr. Christopher Mulliens, that moment became a turning point.
He recognized that too many veteran fathers are left to navigate life after service without the resources, housing, and support systems they need—not just for themselves, but for their children as well.

The Mulliens House was created to change that.
More than just a place to stay, it is a place to rebuild. A place where veteran fathers and their children can find stability, support, and a true opportunity for a fresh start.

More Than Just A House

This is more than walls and a roof.

It’s a safe space for fathers to rebuild.
It’s
stability for children who need consistency.
It’s a
foundation for families
to grow stronger together.

The Mulliens House represents a second chance—one built on support, structure, and community.
