The FMF
Mission Statement
"The Freddie Mae Foundation provides veteran fathers and their children with a fresh start through safe transitional housing, family-centered support, and life resources that help families rebuild stability and create a path toward long-term independence."

Why This Matters
Many veterans return home facing unexpected challenges that impact their stability and their ability to provide for their families. When fathers struggle, their children often experience uncertainty and instability as well.
The Freddie Mae Foundation was created to ensure veteran fathers and their children have a safe place to rebuild, reconnect, and move forward together. By providing transitional housing and supportive resources, we help families regain stability and restore hope for the future.
Our Focus Areas
Transitional Housing
Providing a safe and supportive home environment where veteran fathers and their children can rebuild their lives together.
Family
Stability
Helping fathers strengthen relationships with their children while rebuilding structure, trust, and stability.
Pathway to Independence
Equipping families with life skills, financial guidance, and community resources that support long-term success.
Our Vision
The vision of the Foundation is to help create a society where men are functioning adults and grounded with the skills needed to build better functioning households. To help keep men off the street and out of the revolving prison doors. To help men become better protectors of their households and neighborhoods.
With valuable skills and new perspectives on life, we want our men to mentor and develop our children to become better citizens as well. The Freddie Mae Foundation plans to not only impact the community of Augusta, Georgia, but nationwide and worldwide
