Our Mission

The continuous effort to provide mentorship and community outreach.

The Freddie Mae Foundation, Inc. is an organization that provides services to the less fortunate and homeless men in the community. We also aim to provide youth mentoring services. The organization strives to be a safe haven to those in which we service and plans to make great leaders within our community, bring local awareness to the plight of the underserved, and help the community to be a healthy and safe neighborhood for everyone.

Vision

The vision of the Foundation is to help create a society where men are functioning adults and grounded with the skills needed to build better functioning households. To help keep men off the street and out of the revolving prison doors. To help men become better protectors of their households and neighborhoods. With valuable skills and new perspectives on life, we want our men to mentor and develop our children to become better citizens as well. The Freddie Mae Foundation plans to not only impact the community of Augusta, Georgia, but nationwide and worldwide

Youth Mentorship

Mentor youth between the ages of 7-20 years of age. The focus is to give them the opportunity to make a way out of their unforeseen circumstances through community outreach. The foundation will put efforts into  molding and shaping the youth into better citizens by spending time and pairing the youth with loving and outstanding citizens.

Community Outreach

The Foundation conducts consistent outreach to the homeless and less fortunate in the community. On the 1st and 3rd weekend of every month the Foundation rallies up to volunteers to distribute a range of personal items to improve the quality of life of the people we serve. We distribute clothes, shoes, personal hygiene products, food, and other items. The Foundation will further facilitate the rehabilitation of men who have been mentally, physically, and emotionally abused as well as those who have drug and alcohol addictions. Freddie Mae Foundation plans to launch a transitional housing program to provide men the opportunity to provide their children with the stability needed to have fully functioning family lives and avoid family disruptions.
