The Freddie Mae Foundation is proud to announce the 2025 recipient of the Dwight L. Walton Scholarship: Ms. Jasmine Scott! A graduating senior from Grovetown High School, Ms. Scott has earned a weighted GPA of 3.0 and will be attending Johnson & Wales University to pursue a degree in Culinary Arts and Food Science. Congratulations, Jasmine!

Scholarship Qualifications

  • 10 hours of community services. 5 hours with the FMF & 5 hours outside of the FMF.

  • Must provide a letter confirming volunteer hours rendered.

  • Three letters of recommendation (one must be from a teacher)

  • Two page essay about who you are, who will the scholarship impact (you/family), and your future professional goals (MLA Style with a cover page and double spacing)

  • School Transcripts

  • ALL SCHOLARSHIPS WILL BE PAID DIRECTLY TO THE SCHOOL OF ACCEPTANCE
